Architecture STUDIES

One of the fields of excellence in university studies in Italy is architecture. Italy has a great tradition for the study of architecture that extends from the times of Ancient Rome to our contemporary world. There are 35 universities in Italy that offer a degree in architecture. There are four common training courses for the Degree in Architecture: architecture, urban planning, conservation of architectural heritage, restoration. The first path trains future architects, who will organize the space in which we live and will mainly deal with the construction of buildings. Urban planning allows to acquire a broader view of the city and the territory in which it is inserted. The last two training courses border on art: one prepares for the management of national and international architectural heritage, the other is dedicated to learning building restoration techniques. The Degree Courses in Architecture also include workshops, visits to construction sites, exercises on surveys, design of buildings and landscapes, as well as professional activities in architectural firms. You will experience Italy's invaluable art historical legacy and be immersed in innovative, creative and technical studies.
